NVIDIA and Apple’s collaboration brings native integration of NVIDIA CloudXR 6.0 to visionOS, securely delivering NVIDIA RTX-powered simulators and professional 3D graphics applications-like Immersive for Autodesk VRED on Innoactive’s XR streaming solutions-to Apple Vision Pro.
You're not hitting the limits of XR. You're hitting the limits of how you're running it. For anyone who's tried to load a full building model into Apple Vision Pro, you already know what happens. You start making compromises. One floor instead of the whole structure. One room instead of the full floor. The model gets chopped up just to fit inside the headset.
That's not an XR problem. That's a compute problem.
NVIDIA just changed the equation. With CloudXR 6.0 now natively integrated into visionOS, your RTX workstation or cloud GPU does the heavy rendering and streams it wirelessly, in full fidelity, directly to Apple Vision Pro. No degraded models. No decimated meshes. The actual dataset, at 1:1 scale, in real time.
Dynamic foveated streaming-a capability enabled by CloudXR 6.0 and visionOS 2.0-ensures the highest possible visual fidelity at focus points while maximizing performance and bandwidth efficiency. Approximate gaze data is never exposed to the application, strictly protecting user privacy while delivering the ultralow latency required for comfortable, photorealistic immersion.
This is exactly the constraint we've been working around at NeuroFlares. On projects we were loading individual rooms into Vision Pro, not because we wanted to, but because loading the entire building wasn't possible on the headset alone. We built workflows around that limitation. That limitation is now gone.
Spatial computing for Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry has always had the vision. The infrastructure is finally catching up.
A growing ecosystem of partners is already harnessing CloudXR for visionOS to transform their workflows. Leading software providers-including Autodesk, Innoactive, Synopsys, Trifork, X-Plane, and iRacing-are using the integration to deliver high-fidelity applications natively to Apple Vision Pro. This provides enterprises such as Roche, Foxconn, and automotive leaders like Kia, BMW Group, Rivian, and Volvo Group with the ability to visualize massive 3D assets and complex simulations with uncompromised photorealism.
“Integrating immersive spatial computing into our workflow with NVIDIA CloudXR for visionOS allows us to evaluate our designs at full size with greater clarity and speed on Apple Vision Pro,” said Karim Habib, executive vice president and head of Kia Global Design. This allows global teams to experience proportions, surfaces, colors, and materials together in a shared real-world environment, collaborating in real time and refining the creative intent behind every decision.
At Volvo Group Design, the strategy is digitally first, building physical prototypes only when essential. Spatial computing, Apple Vision Pro, and CloudXR let engineers experience everything users see and touch-years sooner. This technology delivers a level of realism never possible before, enabling premium experiences through seamless collaboration and shaping the future of transport beyond vehicles.
Enterprises are moving beyond single-user XR pilots toward collaborative, multi-location deployments that require performance, control, and scalability. Solutions like Innoactive’s enterprise XR streaming deliver workstation-class visualization directly to spatial devices for product showrooms, design reviews, and digital twins. By removing the need for local high-fidelity hardware, companies can deploy these immersive experiences to any location with a standard internet connection.
Pharmaceutical giant Roche, in collaboration with Innoactive, is using NVIDIA Omniverse libraries and CloudXR for visionOS to simulate layouts for its biofluid analysis labs. By using spatial computing to visualize these labs at 1:1 scale before they are built in the real world, Roche can optimize equipment placement and workflow efficiency, reducing costly construction errors and ensuring that every square foot of the facility is utilized effectively.
Global manufacturer Foxconn is utilizing CloudXR to visualize factory-floor walkthroughs. This allows designers to explore and optimize complex facilities in a fully immersive environment before stepping foot on the actual floor. By identifying potential bottlenecks or safety issues in the digital twin, Foxconn accelerates its transition toward AI-enabled smart manufacturing, ensuring that its physical infrastructure is as efficient as its digital planning.
One of the most significant aspects of CloudXR 6.0 is its availability as a native streaming framework for Swift, the programming language for Apple platforms. This means developers can build high-fidelity consumer and enterprise apps right out of the box within Xcode. By integrating seamlessly with Apple's development environment, NVIDIA provides a frictionless path for creators to bring photorealistic, RTX-powered experiences to the next generation of spatial computing devices.
