SliceFlow Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how NeuroFlares ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the SliceFlow app for Apple Vision Pro. SliceFlow is a DICOM image viewer intended for visualization and educational purposes only. It is not a medical device and is not intended for diagnosis or treatment.

Information We Collect

Account information (Sign in with Apple). When you sign in, we receive an anonymous Apple user identifier. On your first sign‑in only, Apple may also share your name and email address (or a private relay email) if you choose to provide them. We store this to identify your account.

Usage and diagnostic data. To improve the app, we collect anonymous usage information tied to your account identifier, including how long you spend in the viewer and technical details about the studies you open — such as file size, number of images, modality, transfer syntax, image dimensions, and any load errors. This data helps us detect and fix problems (for example, files that fail to open).

Medical images (processed on your device). DICOM files and any patient information contained within them are processed entirely on your device. SliceFlow does not upload, transmit, or store your DICOM images or their embedded patient data on our servers.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate and secure the app, authenticate your account, understand how features are used, diagnose and fix technical problems, and communicate with you where appropriate. We do not use your information for third‑party advertising, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with your consent, with service providers who help us operate the app (such as our hosting and database providers), to comply with the law, or to protect our rights. Account and contact details may be recorded in our internal customer management system.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → General → Account → Delete Account), which removes your associated data from our systems. You can also revoke SliceFlow's access at any time in your device settings under your Apple ID → Sign in with Apple.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit.

Children's Privacy

SliceFlow is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
